Automatic profiles
ArrayLux watches which window is in front. When a program you have assigned a profile to comes to the foreground, that profile applies. Alt-Tab away and the previous one returns. You set it up once.

Brightness, contrast, color and saturation move to your values.

Sub-Zero dimming Pro
Plenty of monitors bottom out well above dark — the backlight simply will not go any further. Sub-Zero picks up where the hardware stops and keeps dimming in software, past the number the monitor admits to.
This one works in software rather than over DDC/CI, which is also why it runs on laptop screens and on monitors that do not speak DDC/CI at all.
Solar Sync Pro
ArrayLux works out sunrise and sunset for your location and eases brightness along with them — bright at midday, dim once it is dark, with no visible steps in between. If you would rather decide yourself, build a schedule with as many time points as you like.
Multi-monitor
Link your monitors and a single slider moves all of them, keeping the offsets between them intact. Unlink and drive each one on its own.
Everything else
Global hotkeys for brightness, contrast and saturation keep working inside fullscreen games, with an on-screen readout so you can see what you changed.
Pull saturation down system-wide, all the way to greyscale, and tune the RGB channels individually when one screen has a cast that the one beside it does not.
Color temperature down to 1000 K — considerably warmer than the Windows night mode is willing to go.
Separate profiles for mains and battery. The laptop dims itself the moment the cable comes out, and comes back when it goes in.

Yes — as many as you have. Each display gets its own card in the window, and you can link them so that one slider moves all of them at once while keeping the offsets between them.
Hardware brightness and contrast need a monitor that supports DDC/CI and has it switched on in its own menu — true of most displays sold in recent years, where the setting is sometimes called “DDC/CI” and sometimes “auto detect”. Sub-Zero dimming, the blue light filter and saturation control all run in software, so they also work on monitors without DDC/CI and on internal laptop displays.
Brightness and contrast are real hardware changes sent over DDC/CI — the same signal the buttons on the monitor send, so the backlight actually goes down. Sub-Zero dimming, the blue light filter and saturation work in software on top of that, which is exactly what lets them go below the hardware minimum.
